Home has always been the place to be. After. After visiting friends, after visiting kids, after concerts, and trips. Yet in this, the fall of my life, when I am home . . . where it is that I want to be . . . something . . . something . . .
. . . it is peaceful and good and quiet. And orderly when I need it to be that way . . . my puppy Rocky gives me puppy kisses and prompts me to come to bed if I linger too long in front of the TV. And then snuggles up close and tight for body warmth when I finally come to bed . . .
