About Me

My photo
Sarah
Listening to beautiful music on a fall evening when a fresh cool breeze filters through the open windows; snuggling a newborn baby on my shoulder, kissing a two-year old in that special spot where their neck and shoulder meets, being in the country smelling barns and hay and cows and horses and manure, all mixed up together (ABSOLUTELY the BEST smell in the world!); the sound and smell and feel of a spring rain; the smell and taste of dark, strong, freshly brewed coffee; fresh strawberries or cherries. These are a few of my favorite things . . . Being open and flexible to new ideas and experiences but treasuring the past, having personal convictions yet being tolerant and respectful of the same in others, spending time with family and friends, enjoying time alone, feeling peaceful and content when I lay down in bed at night. These are a few of my necessary things . . . That I was not able to figure out how to live out my life with the father of my children, that I am not more successful at eliminating negative thoughts and energies, and that I am not better at practicing the teachings of St. Francis. These are the regrets of my life . . .
